About this document
AMH in PCO by Amr Abdel-Nasser is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The study investigates the serum concentration of anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) in obese women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) compared to obese normo-ovulatory women. Results indicate that AMH levels are significantly higher in women with PCOS and can predict response to clomiphene citrate treatment, with a cut-off value of 1.2 ng/ml showing 71% sensitivity and 65.7% specificity. The findings suggest that AMH measurement may be a useful tool for assessing ovarian response in this population.
