This study used computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to analyze the aerodynamic performance of an idealized modern wingsuit design. CFD simulations were performed on both a 2D airfoil cross section and the full 3D wingsuit geometry. The results showed that the 3D wingsuit design had a higher maximum lift coefficient and stall angle than the isolated 2D airfoil, due to downwash effects on the 3D geometry.
