What is Low-Cost nsPEF Generator Design about?
This document describes the design of a low-cost nanosecond pulsed electric fields (nsPEFs) generator using power MOSFETs and a Cockcroft-Walton multiplier circuit as a high voltage DC source. The generator was simulated using NI Multisim software and a prototype was built. Testing showed the prototype could generate 400V pulses with a 200 nanosecond width, though not the expected 1.5kV. Future work will modify the design to improve the output voltage and use more readily available components.
