About this document

DASH Diet and Heart Failure Risk by Emilio is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study investigates the association between adherence to the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) diet and the incidence of heart failure (HF) in a diverse population. Results indicate that higher DASH diet scores are inversely associated with the risk of incident HF, particularly in individuals under 75 years old. The findings suggest that dietary patterns promoting lower sodium and higher potassium intake may help prevent HF in certain populations.
