About this document
Scarf Pin Inhalation: Surgical Insights by Menna Ibrahim is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study examines 28 cases of scarf pin inhalation among young Moroccan women, highlighting the clinical characteristics and surgical treatment following unsuccessful endoscopic removal. The average age of patients was 20 years, with a mean interval of 10 days between inhalation and surgery, and the majority of pins were located in the left tracheobronchial tree. Surgical intervention, performed via thoracotomy, was conservative and resulted in an uneventful postoperative course for most patients.
