The Hukseflux SBG01 is a water-cooled heat flux sensor used to measure heat flux in fire testing and smoke chamber tests. It measures heat flux up to 200 kW/m2 and has advantages over traditional sensors like increased robustness and scratch resistance. The sensor is calibrated against a secondary standard traceable to NIST and SP, but Hukseflux itself is not a certified lab. It generates an output voltage proportional to heat flux and requires cooling water flow above 10 liters/hour.
