Cervical length measurements are recommended for singleton pregnancies between 14 to 27 weeks and again at 28 to 36 weeks of gestation. If the cervical length is between 26 to 29 mm, repeat measurements should occur weekly until 24 weeks, and if it is less than 25 mm, a cerclage should be placed along with progesterone supplementation. Routine measurements are not required if the cervical length remains above 30 mm.
