The site is a landslide (reactivated) on a bridge at 50+000. Highly fractured sandstone and interbeds of shale are exposed on the steeper sections of the slope. There is a distinct backscarp at the crareas that have not failed and include grasses, shrubs and trees. The slope above the road extends about 400 m to the crest of a ridge with an elevation difference of 225 m from road
