This study investigates the effectiveness of polyacrylonitrile (PAN) fiber and iron ore as adsorbents for removing arsenic from water. The modified PAN fiber demonstrated superior adsorption capacities for both arsenite (As+3) and arsenate (As+5), achieving up to 98% removal for As+5 and 80% for As+3, outperforming iron ore. The research emphasizes the importance of optimizing parameters such as pH, dosage, and contact time for effective arsenic removal.
