OK Tigrod 13.38 is a welding rod designed for gas tungsten arc welding of high-temperature steels and steels for hot hydrogen service. It is particularly suitable for welding 9% chromium steels used in oil refineries. The rod has a composition of 0.1% carbon, 0.2% silicon, 0.5% manganese, 8.9% chromium, 0.7% nickel, and 1.0% molybdenum. It produces weld deposits with typical mechanical properties of 690 MPa yield strength, 785 MPa tensile strength, and 20% elongation.
