What is Befana about?

1) Once upon a time, there was a grandmother who told her granddaughter Julia the story of the witch Befana and a girl named Ana. 2) Befana received an invitation to a sock party but didn’t have any pair, so she tried to make them with magic unsuccessfully. 3) Meanwhile, Ana got tired of behaving well and went out to play in the rain puddles, getting dirty. Befana helped her, promising that her mom wouldn’t notice in exchange for lending her the socks.
