A 59 year old Indian female with a history of diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia presented with fever, cough, sore throat and worsening shortness of breath. On examination, she had inflamed tonsils and a non-healing ulcer on her right foot. She was diagnosed with acute tonsillitis and treated with antibiotics. Her diabetes was managed as an outpatient and her foot ulcer was treated with regular dressings.
