About this document

Development Length of Steel Bars by RAVI PRAKASH SAINI is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This table provides the developed length (Ld) of reinforcing bars for different steel types and concrete mixes when used in tension or compression. It gives the constant value of K, which is used to calculate Ld, for various steel grades (Fe 250, Fe 415, Fe 500, Fe 550) and concrete compressive strengths (M20 to M40). The higher the steel grade or concrete strength, the shorter the developed length required for the bar to reach its yield strength.
