What is RA 10365: AMLA 2013 Amendments about?

This document amends the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2001 to further strengthen anti-money laundering efforts. It expands the definition of "covered persons" to include more types of dealers and service providers, and defines "unlawful activity" as any act related to 21 specified crimes including kidnapping, dangerous drugs, graft, plunder, robbery, forgery and human trafficking. Lawyers and accountants are excluded from the definition of covered persons when maintaining client confidentiality.
