What is Enhanced Firefly Algorithm for FJSP about?

The document summarizes research on flexible job shop scheduling problems and algorithms to solve them. It presents an enhanced firefly algorithm approach developed by the authors to solve flexible job shop scheduling problems. The algorithm transforms continuous functions used in the standard firefly algorithm into discrete functions to solve the machine allocation and operation sequencing problems. The algorithm is evaluated on benchmark data and shown to provide better results than other authors
