About this document

Enhancing A. tricolor Growth with Cd-Resistant Bacteria by mazen mohamed is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study investigates the effects of Bacillus halotolerance DSM 8802, a cadmium (Cd)-resistant bacteria, on the growth and Cd phytoextraction capabilities of Amaranthus tricolor. Results indicate that the inoculation significantly enhances plant growth parameters and Cd accumulation in both roots and shoots, particularly at higher Cd concentrations. The findings suggest that A. tricolor, in combination with Bacillus halotolerance, is effective for phytoremediation of Cd-contaminated soils.
