This study investigates the risk factors and clinical outcomes of acute kidney injury (AKI) in women with pre-eclampsia, conducted at Bakhtawar Amin Trust Teaching Hospital from June 2020 to June 2021. Out of 50 women, 26% developed AKI, with significant associations found between AKI and increased risks of stroke, eclampsia, and maternal/neonatal mortality. The findings highlight the importance of recognizing hypertensive disorders in previous pregnancies as a key predictor of AKI severity and outcomes.
