Chía is a triple lunar goddess in the Muisca religion, revered in pre-Columbian Altiplano Cundiboyacense, and considered the patron deity of the Zipa ruler of Bogotá. Her ceremonial center was located in Chía, Cundinamarca, where priests known as chyquys conducted rituals involving offerings. Chía, along with her solar consort Sué, represents the duality of light and is associated with lunar eclipses.
