What is Critique of Shakespeare about?

Shakespeare was widely praised by drama critics as "The Immortal Bard" for his writing during his lifetime. However, when his wife Anne Hathaway read his plays, she found issues with his use of complex language, sexism, portrayal of Lady Macbeth, and inclusion of sex and violence. As a result of her unfavorable reviews of his writing, Shakespeare left Anne Hathaway his second best bed in his will.
