About this document

Overview of Abrasive Jet Machining (AJM) by Hemanth Rama Krishna Yernagula is a document available to read on EtoBox.

Abrasive jet machining (AJM) is a non-traditional machining process where high-velocity abrasive particles are used to erode material from a workpiece. In AJM, abrasive particles are propelled at high speeds by a gas and directed towards the workpiece through a nozzle. Upon impact, the abrasive particles cause tiny brittle fractures on the workpiece surface. The fractured material is then carried away by the gas stream. AJM can be used to cut intricate shapes in hard, brittle materials like glass and tungst
