The study investigates the effect of two different light intensities on the cleaning capacity and productivity of an aquaponic filter in a recirculation aquaculture system. Results indicate that higher artificial light intensity improved fish growth and reduced ammonium, nitrate, and phosphate levels in the water compared to natural light conditions. Additionally, lettuce grown under artificial light showed increased yield and root length, although these differences were not statistically significant.
