Emily Bronte was an English novelist born in 1818 in Yorkshire. She was one of six children in her family and spent most of her life in the isolated village of Haworth with her siblings. As a child, she engaged in imaginative writing projects with her siblings and helped create the fantasy world of Gondal. Her only published work was the novel Wuthering Heights in 1847, which tells a Gothic story of love and revenge set on the English moors. Unfortunately, Bronte died of tuberculosis at the young age of 30,
