This study investigates the impact of cooperative learning on enhancing listening comprehension skills among fourth-year English teacher education students in Chile. Results from a quasi-experimental design indicated that students who participated in cooperative activities showed significant improvement in their listening skills compared to a control group. The findings suggest that cooperative learning is an effective pedagogical approach for advancing listening competencies in EFL contexts.
