This study examined the use of "content representations" or CoRes to help early career teachers develop pedagogical content knowledge (PCK). Experts and teachers collaborated to design CoRes in science and technology. Teachers then used the CoRes to plan and teach units, which researchers observed. The teachers felt the CoRe design process and using the CoRe helped them understand the content better and try new teaching strategies. The study suggests CoRes can help teachers learn from experts and benefit PC
