This document summarizes a study that mapped forest and land fire prone areas in Gowa Regency, Indonesia. The study analyzed factors that influence forest and land fires such as vegetation, slope, aspect, distance from roads and settlements. Using GIS software, the study mapped forest and land fire prone zones based on these factors. The results showed that Gowa Regency has large areas classified as vulnerable to forest fires and low risk land fires, totaling over 68,000 hectares and 70,000 hectares respect
