About this document
1989 IBP Elections Annulled by June Vincent Ferrer is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The Supreme Court annulled the 1989 elections of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) after finding widespread violations of IBP by-laws during the election process. Specifically, the Court found that candidates engaged in excessive electioneering, use of government resources, and unethical behavior. As a result, the Court amended the IBP by-laws to reduce electioneering and politicization for IBP leadership positions going forward.
