The Ohio Auditor of State Bulletin notified public offices and elected officials about new requirements under the Public Records Act. House Bill 9 made changes including requiring elected officials to receive three hours of public records training each term and public offices to adopt and post public records policies. The Auditor of State will review offices for compliance, and can issue non-compliance citations for violations.
