The study investigates the physiological alterations in Kinnow mandarin plants developed through gamma irradiation and chemical mutagen (EMS), focusing on plant growth, fruit yield, and leaf gas exchange characteristics. Results indicate a dose-dependent decrease in plant height and fruit yield, with significant reductions observed in plants exposed to higher doses of gamma rays and EMS. The findings suggest that these physiological changes can inform the selection of desirable genotypes for future breeding
