This article discusses an archaeological site called Muang Bon in central Thailand. The site has two concentric enclosures surrounded by moats and ramparts, with the inner enclosure being about 300 yards in diameter. Trial excavations revealed pottery sherds and other artifacts indicating the site was inhabited until around the 10th century AD. The findings provide new information about settlements of the Dvaravati period in central Siam.
