What is Reflections on Automatic Madness about?

This poem explores madness, desires, and memories both real and imagined. The speaker questions whether their visions of angels, demons, and futures come from within themselves or some outside force. They have lost track of reality over years of seeking knowledge and simplicity has eluded them, leaving them with an "automatic madness".
