What is Altera MAX 7000 CPLD Architecture Overview about?

The Altera MAX 7000 family of CPLDs consists of logic array blocks (LABs) containing macrocells, expander product terms, and a programmable interconnect array (PIA) that connects any LAB input or output. Each LAB contains 16 macrocells comprising logic gates, flip flops, and registers. The PIA interconnects the LABs and contains global control signals and I/O control blocks.
