About this document
Quesnel Voting Eligibility for Renters by Steve Forseth is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Renters in the City of Quesnel can vote in local elections if they meet the requirements of being a resident elector. To vote, a person must be a Canadian citizen aged 18 or older who has lived in British Columbia for at least 6 months and in Quesnel for at least 30 days. These rules apply whether a person owns their home, rents, lives with friends or family, has no fixed address, or is a student. Those without a fixed address can sign a declaration of residency to be eligible.
