Broadcom DCSG is updating its serial number format to use letters to indicate the year of manufacture, due to the risk of running out of unique serial numbers. The new format will be implemented starting the week of June 8, 2020, and will apply to all Broadcom DCSG products without affecting their form, fit, or function. For any questions or support, customers are advised to contact their Broadcom field sales engineer or the Contact Center.
