What is Overview of the Acre War (1899-1903) about?

The Acre War had its roots in territorial disputes and economic differences with Brazil over the rubber-rich region. Treaties signed in the 19th century ceded Bolivian territory and caused resentment. The conflict erupted in 1899, and Bolivia sent military expeditions to regain control, but Brazil intervened and forced the signing of the Treaty of Petrópolis in 1903, by which Bolivia ceded approximately 190,000 km2 of Acre territory to Brazil.
