Present study aim was to study the potential advantages of pectoralis nerve block for providing analgesia in postoperative mastectomy surgery period by assessing reduction in pain, improved analgesia in the axilla and upper limb and for reduced morphine consumption, besides being less invasive, easier and safer to perform as it is done under ultrasound guidance.
