Mangosparos grew bananas but monkeys from the nearby forest would eat all the ripe fruits, leaving none for Mangosparos and his wife. When Mangosparos asked the monkeys to leave some bananas, they laughed at his request. Desperate to save their bananas, Mangosparos and his wife pretended Mangosparos had died to lure the monkeys into their house, where they trapped and killed all the monkeys with bolos.
