This document specifies requirements for radiography testing of components up to 20mm in wall thickness using a SAFERAD/Close Proximity system with a Selenium 75 isotope source of at least 30 Ci strength. The testing must be performed in either directional, panoramic, or projection exposure mode using very fine grain film protected by a gamma radiation barricade of no more than 2 meters, with test results and interpretations reported in an approved format along with the radiographs.
