What is Adhesion and Cohesion in Water about?
Water molecules are attracted to each other through cohesion and attracted to other substances through adhesion. Cohesion causes water molecules to stick together to form spherical drops due to the lowest energy state being when molecules are surrounded on all sides by other water molecules.
