This study evaluated the antifungal activity of 30 plant species belonging to 20 families against four fungal pathogens of tea: Pestalotiopsis theae, Colletotrichum camelliae, Curvularia eragrostidis, and Botryodiplodia theobromae. Ethanol and aqueous extracts of Allium sativum, Datura metel, Dryopteris filix-mas, Zingiber officinale, Smilax zeylanica, Azadirachta indica, and Curcuma longa showed 100% inhibition of spore germination for the fungal pathogens.
