Officers Kling and New responded to calls about a reckless driver in a burning vehicle on I-30 in Bryant, Arkansas. When Officer Kling arrived on the scene, he saw the vehicle had crashed into the inside wall and there was smoke coming from the vehicle. The driver was unresponsive. Both officers risked their lives by climbing onto the burning vehicle and breaking windows to pull the unconscious driver to safety. It was later learned the driver was under the influence.
