Zoroastrianism is one of the oldest monotheistic religions founded by Zarathushtra around 3,500 years ago. It believes in one supreme god Ahura Mazda and that people have the power to choose between good and evil. Sacred sites include fire temples where an eternal flame is kept representing purity. Followers celebrate various festivals throughout the year including Nowruz and engage in community values of equality and charity.
