What is Narratología Postclásica Gerald Prince about?

Narratology may be viewed as a scientifically motivated, structuralist inspired theory of narrative. It refers back to Saussurean linguistics through its interest in narrative langue rather than narrative paroles. In what is called its classical phase, it examines what narratives have in common.
