What is Energy-Efficient Image Processing Multiplier about?

The document presents a hybrid radix-4 and approximate logarithmic multiplier designed for energy-efficient image processing. This multiplier improves DSP core performance by approximating multiplication, balancing accuracy and energy consumption through a combination of exact and approximate methods. Experimental results indicate that the proposed design achieves good area utilization and energy efficiency, making it suitable for real-time image processing applications.
