Multiple drugs Various toxicities and lack of efficacy: case report A 68-year-old man developed elevated blood glucose, alopecia, myelosuppression, pulmonary infection and reflux oesophagitis during treatment with docetaxel and carboplatin for stage IV squamous cell carcinoma of the lung. Additionally, he developed fatigue during treatment with pembrolizumab for stage IV squamous cell carcinoma of the lung, and exhibited lack of efficacy with tacrolimus and prednisone for stage 1 membranous nephropathy [routes, frequencies and duration of treatment to reaction onset not stated; not all doses stated]. The man patient presented with oedema of the lower limbs and increased urine foam in August 2018. Stage 1 membranous nephropathy (MN) with subepithelially localised immune deposits was identified, and he received treatment with tacrolimus and prednisone. However, after 9 months of receiving immunosuppressive therapy, the oedema and proteinuria did not improve (lack of efficacy).
