Metro Davao is the metropolitan area of Davao City and surrounding cities and municipalities in Mindanao, Philippines. It includes Davao City as well as Digos, Tagum, Panabo, and Samal. The metropolitan area also includes the municipalities of Carmen and Santa Cruz. Unlike Metro Manila and Metro Cebu, Metro Davao does not have a formal legal framework established by Congress or presidential decree that defines its composition and governance.
