To use a wet and dry bulb hygrometer: 1) fill the reservoir and wet the wick, 2) record the dry bulb reading, 3) record the wet bulb reading, and 4) subtract the wet bulb from the dry bulb to find the wet bulb depression and use the enclosed chart to determine the relative humidity by matching the dry bulb temperature and wet bulb depression. The plasticized calculation chart should be used, but the customer should retain the printed backup chart that came in the box for the hygrometer.
