About this document
GPU-Based Radon Transform Implementation by Mustafa Berkan BİÇER is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This document describes an implementation of the real-time forward and inverse Radon transforms using the graphics processing capabilities of GPUs. The forward transform maps the discretized image to projection lines via the graphics pipeline. The inverse transform applies a frequency domain filtering operation to the projections using FFT, followed by backprojection of the filtered values. Performance results show the GPU implementation achieves a speedup over CPU-only processing, completing the transforms
