Can I read Constitutive Equations for Surface Diffusion in Mixtures of Viscoelastic Surfactants on EtoBox?

Constitutive Equations for Surface Diffusion in Mixtures of Viscoelastic Surfactants by Leonard M.C. Sagis is a Physics and Astronomy article available to read on EtoBox.

What is Constitutive Equations for Surface Diffusion in Mixtures of Viscoelastic Surfactants about?

In this paper a constitutive equation is derived for surface di usion in multicomponent surfaces that exhibit linear viscoelastic behavior with fading memory. The equation is based on the Maxwell-Stefan theory for di usion. The constitutive equation incorporates the e ects of ordinary di usion, forced di usion, and di usion arising from surface tension gradients. It also incorporates di usion caused by inertial e ects, di usion resulting from hydrostatic normal stresses, di usion arising from hydrodynamic viscous stresses, and contributions arising from the deformation history of the individual components. These last contributions are given in terms of memory integral expressions. The constitutive equation is derived using the jump entropy inequality.
