The Dragon Fire 120 mm heavy mortar was designed by TDA Armaments and adopted by the US Marine Corps. It is a fully automated mortar capable of firing both rifled and smoothbore 120 mm ammunition at high angles for indirect fire support. The Dragon Fire II was a later version that was half the weight and could receive and process fire missions and fire within 18 seconds. However, funding cuts led to it being stored rather than deployed.
