Antibacterial Effects of Chitosan Nano-Particles in Root Canals by umadevi is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study evaluates the antibacterial effectiveness of chitosan nanoparticles (CNPs) compared to 2.5% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) in disinfecting root canals contaminated with Enterococcus faecalis, both with and without diode laser irradiation. Results indicate that while NaOCl is more effective than saline, CNPs show comparable efficacy, especially when combined with laser treatment. The findings suggest that a combination of irrigation and laser application is a promising approach for eliminating E. fae
